Born on his family farm northeast of Delphi Indiana, Braden grew his passion for agriculture while helping his dad in the fields and hog barns as a child, and as a 10 year 4-H member. He graduated from Purdue University in 2018, with an Agricultural Economics degree and a double minor in Plant Science and Communications. He enjoys the family connection and feeling you get from Frontiersmen growers and employees throughout the Midwest.
Dustin Plunkett
As a Seed Specialist, Dustin has formed many relationships with Indiana and Michigan growers, and his valuable connections have kept him with Frontiersmen for over a decade. His trust in Frontiersmen’s products has led him to plant Frontiersmen hybrids on his family’s farms. When he’s not out on the road meeting with customers, Dustin can be found spending time with friends & family, hunting, working on the family farm, and growing his cattle operation. He and his wife, Amanda, reside in rural Boone County.
Adam Mayhew
Adam joined the Frontiersmen team as a Seed Specialist in 2015. He came to the Frontiersmen Family with a background in fertilizer sales and lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan with his wife Bri, and three young children, Mason, Eleni and Emersyn. In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, gardening, and following the Detroit Tigers.
Steve Farrell
Steve came to Frontiersmen in 2019 with 35 year’s experience in purchasing and inventory management. He has been an integral part of the business as the inventory lead, and when not at the office, he enjoys reading, music, and world history.
Denise Shedrow
Denise has worked in various accounting roles in the seed industry for over 25 years, and has served as a member and chairperson of the Indiana Crop Audit Committee for over 8 years. She and her husband, Dennis, have four adult children, and three granddaughters. In her spare time, Denise enjoys cooking, camping, and touring in their antique automobiles.
